Delete your data
You can ask Boomerang to delete your account and the information we hold about you at any time, including anything we received when you signed in with Instagram, Facebook or Google.
How to request deletion
- Email hello@boomerangapp.co from the email on your Boomerang account, with the subject “Delete my Boomerang data”.
- Tell us your name and, if you signed in with Instagram, your Instagram handle.
- We confirm by email and delete your account within 30 days.
What we delete
Your login, profile (name, social handles, photo, sizes, address and payout details), your athlete pages and the content you uploaded, and any Instagram, Facebook or Google profile data we stored, such as your username, follower count and profile photo.
What we may keep
Records of sales and payouts that brands need for their accounting and tax obligations are kept, but no longer linked to your login or email.
Remove Boomerang from Facebook or Instagram
You can also remove Boomerang’s access at any time: on Instagram go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites; on Facebook go to Settings → Apps and websites. Removing access stops us receiving new data; email us as above to delete what we already have.
