Terms of Service
These terms apply to boomerangapp.co and the Boomerang app, operated by Centric Group LLC (“Boomerang”, “we”). By using Boomerang you agree to them.
The service
Boomerang lets brands run athlete, ambassador and community programs: tracking links and codes, commissions, rewards, content and reporting. Features may change as we improve the product.
Accounts
- Brands must apply and be approved, and sign in with a Shopify store they’re allowed to manage.
- Athletes apply to a brand’s program; the brand decides who joins. Members can join a brand’s community directly.
- Keep your sign-in secure and give accurate information. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
Brands and athletes
Each brand sets its own program terms, like commission rates, rewards and payouts, and is responsible for honoring them and for its products. Athletes must follow the brand’s program rules and applicable advertising rules, including clearly disclosing paid or gifted relationships. Boomerang provides the tools and isn’t a party to agreements between a brand and its athletes or members.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload. You give Boomerang permission to host and show it so the service works, and you give the brand whose program you join the rights you agree to in that program. Don’t upload anything you don’t have the rights to or that’s unlawful.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Boomerang: no fraud, fake orders or self-referrals to earn commissions, spam, attempts to break or overload the service, or access to data that isn’t yours. We may suspend accounts that do.
There’s no place on Boomerang for objectionable or abusive content or behavior: no harassment, hate, sexual content, threats or impersonation, in your name, photos, videos or messages. You can report or hide anyone in the app. We review reports within 24 hours and remove the content and the account that posted it when it breaks these rules.
Fees
Boomerang is currently free for brands. If we add paid plans later, they will be billed through Shopify and we will tell you before anything changes. Commissions and rewards are paid by the brand directly to its athletes and members.
Disclaimers and liability
Boomerang is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending use
You can stop using Boomerang at any time; brands can uninstall the app from Shopify. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use Boomerang means you accept the update.
